Really want to thank, Jack and Jen and all of the Heat coaches and parents that worked so hard to put on a really fine tournament.

Any of us that know what is involved can recognize that this tournament is one of the smoother run tournaments and in my opinion one of the friendliest tournaments in Southern Ohio, this was our 4th consecutive year at "Heatin it Up" and as long as we have teams and I have any say so our teams will attend this event.

I thought the umpires did a great job (even though it cost me $75, LOL That makes it umpires 2 me 35 ;) ), just kidding, but not about the $75!!

The fields were in great shape, and again for the 2nd week in a row I was encouraged by the progress I see in the SW Ohio teams, IMHO this was a really strong 16u field, I believe any one of 4-5 teams could have won the 16's, and what I saw of th 14's and 12's on Friday really impressed me, especially the local teams.

Again just my opinion

The folks in Cincy ran a great tournament...thanks to all who played a part in making it a fun weekend for the girls. Only one suggestion ...REALLY SEE A NEED FOR A SAFETY BASE.... Too many collisions at first which did not need to occur.

I would LOVE to see the scoreboards used. If you have them, why not use them!

Just wanted to say that we ( the laser teams ) had a great weekend. My hat goes off to the OFC Heat staff for a very well run tournament. The fields were in excellent shape and the play calling, for the most part was very good. Most of all the time alotment for games were well planned, no rushing teams on and off the fields with threats of time expireing. Look forward to coming down to Q.C. next year.

Yes, I agree that this tournament was well run. Only suggestion I have is to spray water on the fields before the games to settle all the dust.

I ditto the comments about the tournament and I enjoyed it. Best umpiring I have seen this year. I don't know if it's within your power, but you need to get rid of those antiquated strap down bases. I seen three girls fall due to the bases and two got injuries.

Thank you to all for the kind words. We have already booked both parks for next year same weekend. Youor concerns have been noted and we are working with the parks on improvements with the bases as well as safety bases at 1st base.

I have watched this tournmament evolve over the last four years and believe that each year was better than the last. This year's field of 16U teams was very competitive and a nice balance of local teams and out-of-towners.

I thought the umpires were exceptional as I noticed several college umpires on the fields. While I agree with the comments regarding the bases and the dust, Waterworks Park is a very fan friendly venue for a tournament.

This has always been a well-run tournament and I look forward to next year. Keep up the good work!
