This game we all love so much is a ?Team? game. As coaches we preach that, we practice that and we want our players to realize that. However there is also the element of individual accomplishments that provide us as parents with a sense of pride in our DD?s. So I?d like to share a moment of pride with the softball community about my DD. Many of you knew her when she played for the Rebels, the Stingrays or the Heat. She then went on to play at Ashland and help me coach the Rebels. Following 4 years at AU she went on to earn her Masters at Wheeling Jesuit University where she was also the GA. While her mom and I are most proud of the education she worked so hard to get, we?re also very excited that this past week she accepted the assistant coaching job at The University of North Carolina-Pembroke. So while being so far away will be an adjustment for her and her family we are very, very proud of her.
Thanks for letting me share.
