Recruiting Event at Mount Saint Joseph August 17, 2018??

My DD had a coach contact her about a recruiting event at MSJ in a few weeks. All she gave her was date and time. My DD responded asking for more info but I was curious if anyone here knew anything about it.

Can't find anything online.

I'm kind of wondering if that email was a fake. I can't find the coach on the university's website and the email wasn't from an .edu email address like I would expect.

It was Waldorf University in Iowa and said she was the assistant softball recruiter.

That was the same one we got. Maybe she is legit. I found a recruiter with her same first name and spelling but different last name. Maybe she got married/divorced. Hopefully she will respond back!

It is most likely one of the discovery days August 10th. If you are interested in the softball program you can contact the coach or see her at the staff portion of the program. I attached sports and admission links you can check out.

Thomas More is another SW Ohio option and they are supposed to be moving from DIII to NAIA in 2019

I actually contacted the head coach at Waldorf because the coach wasn’t listed on the website, and she confirmed coach Courtney was indeed on her coaching staff .... Just an FYI

Looks more like a type of recruiter type event to me. Athletic Dept at Waldorf said that Cortney "works with, not for" the Waldorf head coach.
