I believe you are correct, no relase but you need a pick up player form to add them to your roster for Nationals or Eastern Regionals. BTW it does not need to be signed by the former caoch. I believe some people think they can stop a kid from playing elsewhere even after they are finished playing.

So anyone can form a new team at the end of the season and play in ASA Tournaments? Can a newly formed team use an ASA bid received by another team that has disbanded? What are restrictions as far as National Tournaments? Do the ASA officials check ACE Certification at National Tornaments?
