Just sitting here relaxing after many weekends at tourneys this Summer. DD sleeping in which is needed. Few weeks school starts. Wow time flys. Encourage you all to take some time off from ball to recoup, recharge, and let your DD spend time with friends, enjoy other activities, heal up those sore bodies, and refresh the mind. You will both be back at it soon with a fresh desire to set goals and work with passion. Rest, relax, and enjoy life my OFC friends!

We are too. It's kind of nice to take a break!

The break is nice… but DD is constantly complaining there's nothing to do… Didn't hear that for the last 11 months… haha

True dat. Been a long memorable year for us and Outlaws Silver. Good stuff, but ready to take a short break, lol.

My kid is going to birthday parties, Volleyball practice, movies, and taking a softball break.

Though....I know she'd play now if her team showed up with an opponent ready to play. :)

The break from travel/hotels/game pressure is nice....deep exhale. Took a break from everything Thurs and Friday. Back at it today, flexibility, agility ladder, jump rope, and resistance bands. She would play bare foot in the cul de sac right now.....but she would probably hurt the boys in the neighborhood :)

I think I want the R&R more than my DD she is outside right now playing catch and pitching to her brother. I wish I still had half the energy of these kids lol.

Love it when you hear the bat making contact with the ball in the basement... Yep, Bownet is up.

Time to re-introduce yourself to the neighbors, and start to make it look like someone actually lives in your house again.

That's so funny… our neighbors stopped by the other day and commented that "softball must be over, you guys mowed your entire yard at once." ;)

Yeah, when the heck is DeMarini going to come out with a riding lawn mower? Essential travel ball equipment.

We actually had someone come over to us and ask if we had just moved in. And we said nope. Travel season is over. They had no clue what we were saying. Our whole family started laughing and they said we just moved in in late may. We started laughing harder. I had to go back over to them later in the day and explain.
