Rising stars and Game breakers

I thought it would be nice to have a section to recognize individuals that stand out on the softball field. I know there is a poll that points out the top teams, but this is designed for that opposing player that really impressed you. Maybe it was a game changing hit, a momentum changing defensive play. That player, that no matter how hard you tried to neutralize her, she couldn't be stopped.

State the team you/ your DD plays for and opposing players info (age group, tournament, position). Maybe even a story about what she did to leave saying WOW!!!! Nothing says you're doing a good job like a complement from the competition.

This is just for fun, so hopefully all will take it as such.

OFC Blast 97

We played the Static 98 twice over the weekend in Beavercreek. They are a very talented group and very disciplined. Their 1-3 hitters were absolutely clutch, but the player that left a lasting impression has to be their lead off. Lead off -Lefty with an incredible swing. She knows her strike zone and attacks the ball when it's in her zone.

Star moment
Trailing by 4 runs, she ignited a comeback with a two run double to opposite field in our first game.

Keep up the good work Static 98. Both teams gave it their all and left it all on the field. We look forward to a rematch

I think it is a good idea. I would just like for those to respect this idea and recognize those on OTHER teams. That makes this a worthwhile effort. Tooting ones own horn or "team" horn would cheapen this effort. JMHO.

I want to give a shout out for Kasey Robinson of the Ice!!!! She may be 10, but she plays like a 16 year old. She is a true fastpitch player with great understanding, love, and respect for the game. Look out when she gets older, anyone who's seen her play knows what I mean!!! You rock #99!!!!

At the Doom tournament this past weekend I was impressed with the Hawks 95 shortstop. She is an athlete and a player.
