Marion Merchants 10U Red will be attending. I was at this tournament last year with our 14U Black Team. Great tournament with very nice fields with mountains in the back ground. Hope the 10U teams attend this year.

I want to extend a huge "THANK YOU" to the work crew at the Shadyside Softball Complex & to the coaches and parents that joined in to help prepare the fields after the huge rain on Friday afternoon. With a great effort by these people (and the use of a lot of Diamond Dry) we were able to play all the games scheduled at that location.

Also, a huge "THANKS" goes out to the Wheeling Recreation Department people who had the 1-470 fields ready most of the time and who found and fixed other fields when necessary to get our games played.

The Benwood Youth Softball Organizations also gets a big "THANK YOU" for their help in providing a field for the 14U teams to play their Friday games after the rains made two of the I-470 fields unplayable.

It was a great effort by many people and groups to allow every scheduled game to be played. I really appreciated all of the effort put in by all of these people. I also appreciate the efforts of the umpires who made certain that all games were covered all the time even though, after the downpour, the Friday schedule did not bear much resemblance to the original schedule.
