Are there any mandatory rules? Example spectators, players and coaches etc having to wear protective face masks (coverings?) Will Concessions be avail? Are spectators allowed to sit on the bleachers etc? Ps. Thank you for the other info :)
The email didn't get into those details. They were looking for a reply from coaches as to what option they wish to participate in and gave end of the day today as the deadline to respond. I would assume there will be a follow up email with the specifics regarding the rule changes.

***FROM CONNECT SPORTS*** The county government informed us less than an hour ago that they have changed course and will not be opening their parks for tournament play at the beginning of June.

Regrettably, we will not be able to host teams June 3-7, which includes the 2020 Scenic City All Star Games. Please understand that this is completely out of our control and all of our decisions to this point have been based on the information we had at the time of communication with you.

Ugg! These tournaments are becoming a full time job keeping up with. Every TD is picking the same weekend to reschedule, which adds to the complexity.

Was this an email or some other form of communication? Our team email doesn't have this update. Thanks.

It was in an email:

The most recent communication you received about the June 4-7 dates was based on information we received directly from the parks on Monday morning that they would be open for tournament play on June 1st.

Traveling Teams will cancel all hotel reservations that were booked through them directly. There is no need to contact Traveling Teams or the hotel. Traveling Teams will reach out to your team's main point of contact to confirm cancellation.

As of right now, each of you have a standing $1275 credit with Connect Sports. There is no need for any immediate action on your part.

This is a frustrating turn of events for all involved parties. We would appreciate you allowing us several days to regroup and shift gears internally to the future.

We will reach out to you all at the beginning of next week to inquire about your intentions and address next steps for the remainder of the summer and fall of 2020. We will be happy to answer any questions and work on resolving any issues following our next communication with you.

Sincerely,

Jeremy Higdon
