Div IV # 1 Strasburg takes three on the chin. Definately playing up though from Div IV to Div I and II.

Unranked Loudonville !!!!! Wow .

I do not know if the "ace" pitched the last game, I watched her strike out either 18 or 19 (1 hitter) of the Keystone players on Thursday night then fanned 16 (1 hitter) of the Greenville players on Friday. I also know she started the game against Strasburg on Saturday.

She also started the first game against Hillsdale Friday afternoon.

Alabama team played 5 then and went 4-1.
If she pitched one on Thursday , then two on Friday, odds might be she went and pitch both on Saturday as well. Love to know. Gotta admit... Loudonville must have played some good ball during the tournament.

Loundonville 3-0 at the Wendy's! another great job by the Director's for putting on a good event, saw alot of high caliber softball. Could of been a little bit warmer!!Hueytown Ala. was a very good ball team, the pitcher we faced had really good movement and good change of speeds. We layed an egg against them on Friday, but we cam back and played well on Saturday. Thanks for giving us another Wendy's Classsic.

I remember we played Hueytown there two years ago. Their pitcher then had signed with Miss. State and the rest of the team was also excellent. They were something like 29-1 or whatever by the time the Wendy's rolled around.

I see Oak Park and River Forest (Ill) went down to defeat three or four times. Good job by the Ohio teams knocking off a school with more than three thousand students that is known to recruit.

Hueytown did not pitch the ace pitcher and slapforhits , I think they played a mixed squad against Loudonville. Greenville sure looked tough!

Hueytown did not lose a "Varsity" game, Loudonville beat their "JV" ... not meant to take anything away from L-Ville. That Hueytown team was the class of the tournament, but it would have been nice to see them line up against Elyria and a few of the bigger school teams. They are just barely into the biggest school bracket in Alabama.

Oak Park/Lake Forest ..... 3100 girls?!? Not total students, that's just the "girls" .... whiskey tango foxtrot??

Thanks Pickledad. Kind of what I heard. They did play Greenville, which I think is the top D2 team in the state.
