Mason Softball Boosters will host the Second Annual Mason Fall Classic - ASA Eastern Nationals Qualifier 09/18/10 - 09/19/10. 12U, 14U and 16U age groups with a 4 Game guarantee. 3 pool play games, then single elimination tourney.

Due to a conflict with another sport, we have changed the dates of this tournament to September 18-19, 2010.

This Tournament will be an ASA "A" and "B" Eastern National Qualifier for age groups 12U, 14U, and 16U. There will be a 4 game guarantee. We plan to have 18-24 very competitive teams participating. We will be using fields at the Mason Varsity Softball Complex, Corwin Nixon Park and Mason Sports Park, all of which are excellent fields that can accomodate and even larger tournament field.

The teams that participated last year came from southern and central Ohio as well as West Virginia. All teams said they had a great time. It's a great way to get a good look at your team soon after try-outs and see how they stack up.

This date is now the same as the Hall of Fame Tournament in Goshen. Might want to look at another date, both should be very good tournaments. I would hate to see one take teams from the other. JMO

Originally, we looked at the week before, but that did not work due to a large cross country meet being held on school and park grounds. Sept 18-19 is the only workable date...working with both a school district and a city government.

We are excited about the response to the tournament so far and we'll list the teams that have committed on next Monday. We expect 20-24 teams which is an increase over last year.
