Doctor poked her, prodded her, jostled her...no pain. He asked her to do her throwing motion without a ball and the pain appeared. She pointed to it and he looked at it and his diagnosis was tendinitis. It is located around the upper part of her tricep right below the shoulder. Anti-inflammatory meds for a week coupled with ice and rest from all throwing/lifting type motions for two weeks. Then an attempt to resume normal activities. If the pain is still there in two weeks with treatment and rest, then we go to the ortho...His opinion, however, was that the meds, ice and REST (I'm a bad dad
) should take care of the problem.
