2016-2017 Season Announcement
The Silver Creek Softball organization and Warren Wolff of the Ohio Outlaws are joining forces on a joint venture the SC Prospects. This program is initially focused on the 10U-15U age groups as a developmental program for players that desire to play at a high level and create a roadmap to the Outlaw program.
We at Silver Creek understand the value that Warren brings in the exposure and recruiting process and Warren see's the value of our organization with player development / training. Our goal is to develop players that have the desire to play at a high level and match these players with like talent/goals. When the time is right and a good fit or both the athlete/family we want to create a path for them to the Outlaw organization if this is the direction they want to take with their softball career. This is a different way of thinking as most organizations want to hang on to their players even if the individual goals of the players do not match the vision of a particular team or organization, so rather than trying to hold them back from better opportunities, we embrace the opportunity for them to move forward with their desires/goals if their ability allows them to be chosen to move on to a team with the Outlaws.
?We are very excited about working together with Warren to provide the girls the best opportunities in the eastern OH/western PA area. We have been doing this over the last few years in an informal matter with players and teams going to the Outlaws, but it was time we formalized a program and work together to provide more opportunities for the girls. "When these guy's approached me with this idea I was taken back and honored that they thought so highly of me and what I was doing. After thinking about it for a while and consulting with my inner circle I came to the conclusion that this was a great way to help more girls fulfill their dreams. During the winter months, the "Prospect" teams will continue to train and utilize both the Silver Creek facility as well as the RAW Athletics facilities in New Castle, PA. Both facilities are some of the best available in the region for training. RAW Athletics has quickly become one of the area?s premier indoor softball facilities and a partner for both organizations providing field time for team & organizational practices, hitting cages, league play, clinics, tournaments and exposure events for our players and teams.
The ?Prospect? teams will play a competitive regional schedule that may include some travel up to 3-5hrs of the eastern OH/western PA area.

Silver Creek Softball will also field 10U-18U teams that are not aligned with the SC Prospects but will receive the same training and facilities as the Prospect teams. These teams will play in events primarily in the local area. We understand that not every player has visions of playing in college but have a love for the game and have the desire to play year round and improve their skills. The Silver Creek teams/players are the building blocks of the organization and we expect that some of them each year will continue to improve their skills and move over to the "Prospect" side if that is their desire. There is a place and fit for every girl that plays the game and it?s important that everyone finds the place that matches their needs so we have opportunities for every player?s desire and ability level.
