[FONT=&amp]The Silver Creek RAW Fastpitch organization will be holding tryouts for the 2016 season for all age divisions from 10U - 18U. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to tryout start time.

[FONT=&amp]There is no cost to participate in tryouts and you are only required to participate in 1 tryout, but are welcome to participate in as many as you like. At the conclusion of the general tryout, we ask that all the pitchers and catchers stay for additional drills/workout specific to these positions.[/FONT]

2016 Silver Creek RAW Fastpitch Team Profiles
10U Jones	This team is primarily 2005 birth year players, but will also consider 2006 players if it is the right fit for both the team and player. We will play 1-2 winter/early spring indoor tournaments (Outlaws Classic, Thiel College) as well as appx 8 summer tournaments with 1 overnight within 1 hour radius of western pa/eastern oh. ie..Battle of the Burgh, Perfect Storm, Twist. All positions are open but we are looking for P, C and all around athletes who have the desire to play softball at a high level of competition.

We will play fall ball league 8 or 9 spring/summer local tournaments within 1 hour radius of western pa/eastern oh. All positions are open and available, but P and C positions are a priority.

16U Stroia	This team is primarily players of 2018 & 2019 graduates. We plan to play in 1 fall event or fall league as well as a couple winter tournaments. The summer schedule will consist of 6-7 tournaments which will include showcases, ie., IUP Showcase, Summer Breakout Showcase and GAPSS. We will assist you in maintaining a player profile and help you promote yourself to college coaches. We will practice 2-3 times per week.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Silver Creek Starz forms partnership with RAW Athletics


​

Silver Creek Starz Fastpitch has entered a partnership with RAW Athletics to form what is now known as Silver Creek RAW Fastpitch.

RAW Athletics is a one of a kind year round indoor softball/baseball training facility located in New Castle, PA.

The RAW facility will include (2) 120 x 120 indoor fully turfed playing fields, (8) batting cages, team rooms, pro shop, concessions and an observation deck to watch the action from above the fields. In addition, they will also provide training and instruction that includes: speed/agility, pitching, hitting, catching lessons, arm conditioning circuits, team and individual batting circuits.

During the fall, winter, early spring months, RAW Athletics will be hosting travel team leagues, clinics and college showcase events, tournaments, recreational and possibly high school league play.

With the expansion and popularity of fastpitch softball in western PA and northeast OH, this facility will surely be the preferred destination during the "off-season" months and the Silver Creek organization is excited to be their partner in this venture.

Valley Extreme Girls Fast pitch will be having Fall Friendlies for 2016 playing age

3 upired games will be played on Sundays for only $75: 9/13, 9/20, 9/7, 10/11, 10/18, and 10/25
