Do you want to take your game to the next level and have interest in playing college ball?
If you are looking for more than playing the local tournaments or maybe not looking for a true "Gold/Elite" schedule traveling all over the country, then this may be the right fit/opportunity for you.
Team Profile:
This is a newly formed "regional" showcase/exposure team consisting of new and existing student athletes playing an 18U schedule consisting primarily of 2015-2016 grads, but will also consider 2014 & 2017 grads based on position needs and fit for both the player/team. Our focus will be on participating in events that will be attended by schools within a 2-3 hr radius of western PA/eastern OH.
Schedule Summary:
This team will likely play 1-2 fall showcases and 5 or 6 summer showcase/tourneys. I would expect that at least 4 or 5 of them will require overnight stays.
Possible events include: IUP, Laser's, Stingrays, GAPSS, Best of the Best, Battle of the Burg, Aunt Rosie's, Firecracker Showcase, Buckeye Showdown RecruitFest.
Practices etc.:
During the fall and winter months in addition to our fielding/hitting practices, we will also have indoor scrimmages/friendlies to help hone our skills and work on situations. Indoor practices (both hitting and fielding) will be over the weekend on either Saturday or Sunday during the fall/winter/spring months until the high school softball season concludes and we can begin our "summer" outdoor practice schedule during the week.
Team Needs:
Looking for players that are committed to not only the team, but to their own personal development as a player and teammate. These players should have an expressed interest in playing college softball. All positions are open and available for student athlete's whose goals match that of the teams.
