We spent 12 hours in Akron Saturday to play two games! Some teams got theirs back to back in spite of the rain. Marginal officiating, expensive fees, etc...

A lot better umpiring than the weekend before at Valley EX. There were no favoritism this weekend. I think the older umpires did a great job. Younger umpires were a bit cocky. Like telling us to go to an umpires clinic to learn what Crow Hopping is. This was after calling the pitcher for Crow Hopping and stating he won't call it again because 12u girls are still learning how to pitch. Hogwash!
Grizzlies did a great job getting the fields in shape after the rain.
