Well, if they are from out of state, the team list says they are from Cinci Ohio. EMR 94, Cincinnati, Ohio. Good luck to both teams.

Slammers win 8-2 over a good Hot Stix 95 team.

Hot Stix are coached by Jackie Vasquez, former Arizona State Softball 2008 National Champions Team Member.

Next game at 2:30 CDT

Ump, how many pitchers are you guys carrying this year ... if that isn't too "nosey"? ... assuming AF & BF. A third?

Gets hot out there right?

pickle,

I'll respond based on reports from OK City. Hot and humid. They have a sprinkler system running for the girls to walk through to try and keep cool between games. Shade is their best friend during the day!

Figured it might be like that.

Best friends = shade, water, "Winner's Bracket" .....

Thanks raerae10!

Nice job Bill you and the girls are representing Ohio well, especially after some jack$$$ from AZ told me even before play started that Ohio teams can't compete with with west coast teams.

That Prantl kid is the real deal. I watched the Slammers play in Massillon last week and she can bunt, slap and hit for power. Not that the rest of the team are slouches. Lol. I was just very impressed with her all around play. Good luck girls!! Keep it going.
