Pitching and Pitchers Discussion Sling Pitcher

Has anyone used this particuler pitching device? It's like a weight bench with vertical arms that throws a softball/baseball like a slingshot. In theory it looks like something easy to use and works. You can vary the speed and direction with each pitch without electricity. It claims 40 to 80 mph pitches. It looks portable, easy to store and transport. I have never seen one in person or used one and wondered if anyone has and their opinion on it.

I used one a few years ago and it in no way shape or form can it reach 80 mph. At max 35-40. It was good for young girls 8-11, but older than that, it was useless. IMHO.

Thanks. That's the info I was looking for. I guess I'll stick with looking for a higher end machine. My daughter surpassed my pitching skills long ago. Any suggestions for a good machine for the money?
