Sluggers Fastpitch - Ohio is coming off of an impressive first year. The 16U team will be adding a Pitcher and middle infield/utility players.
Who are we?
Sluggers Fastpitch - Ohio teams are backed by the Powell Fastpitch Organization. Powell Fastpitch is a 501 (C) 3 non-profit organization that was created with the student athlete in mind. We are a Team of coaches, young ladies and parents who work hard on and off the field. Our coaches have mentored their own daughters and many other players who have been successful in the recruitment process.
What we do:
Sluggers Fastpitch - Ohio coaches not only believe in the development of softball knowledge and skills but in overall life skills. We work with the team member, and her family, and review the process steps that are necessary to follow in the recruitment process. As coaches, our job is to put the player in a position to be seen. It is the players responsibility to be recruited. This includes communicating to the teams that they are interested in and attending their camps and clinics. We are always reminding these young ladies that the goal is a college education/degree, softball is a way to help them achieve that. We truly are about the student athletes and show them that there is always more to offer.
Schedule:
We are an '01 16U team and have added a 13U team. We will be hosting tryouts on Saturday August 12th from 1pm - 4pm at Olentangy Liberty High School 3584 Home Rd, Powell, OH 43065. Please arrive to tryouts early for registration or visit our website at http://sluggersfastpitchohio.jerseywatch.com/ to download a registration form.
