Soccer Cleats Allowed?

Are they allowed per NFHS rules?
Rule 3.2.11 says they can not be round.

Maybe referring to round metal spikes, not round plastic spikes

The main difference is that soccer cleats don't have a projection at the toe. I have never seen an umpire check the spikes like the soccer referees do. So I don't believe that the rules come into play in any practical way. You can use a soccer cleat especially in the younger age groups but when its time to step up to big girl spikes then she'll need the toe spike.
