COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson softball team wrapped up the 2018 season with a 40-16 record and an appearance in the NAIA National Championship Opening Round.
After struggling to get games in early due to weather, the Blue Raiders opened the season by winning nine of their first 10 games. During the second half of March, LWC went on a 13-game win streak from March 13 to March 30. During that span, head coach David Dews collected his 500th career-coaching victory in a 9-0 shutout of Hiwassee (Tenn.) on March 16, 2018.
