Softball Alum Speers Bound for Tokyo 2020 Olympics
Surrey, B.C. – Kent State softball alumnae Holly Speers (2015-18) will become the second Golden Flash to play softball in the Olympic games. Speers is a member of Team Canada, which qualified for the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic games, It is the first time the sport will be contested since the 2008 games in Beijing.
