Jesus people! I haven't been on here in 6 months...pop on and see the normal stuff and stumble across this. Not a single comment or anything.......do you people want to pretend this didn't happen or doesn't happen. I will be coming out soon with what has happened to our family and my daughter. These monsters are everywhere. At the park, the schools, and in your back yard. These kids don't deserve it, didn't ask for it, don't have it coming to them, didn't initiate it, none of the bullshit I have heard.
SOSoftball, I applaud you for making this post and sorry no one has commented.
If anyone is experiencing this, I will talk to you. I have fought for almost two years, still doing so, and will continue to fight for my daughters mind back from the manipulation. Our case was not a softball coach even though he knew about it....speaking of which maybe chapter 3 will come out!
Out of all the people that had a part in my daughters softball career and through all this situation, only one single person reached out in our/her support initially....out of a thousand probably! Warren Wolfe...special shout out to him for that. The other being Ricky. Thank you as well!

Why do you feel the need to demand people acknowledge how horrible this is ? Just me maybe , but no need to point out the obvious . Comments on social media on matters that are headed to court are not a good idea anyway .
Probably went unnoticed among the ocean of repetitive posts "looking for that special player to round out our roster" and tournament posts/additions that fill the wall up to the point you miss stuff.
I wouldn't take it as nobody cares about it, cuz I bet you couldn't find one person who feels that way. Sounds like you have some terrible stuff to deal with. I wish the best for you and your daughter.

You're kidding, right? OFC has the biggest group of helicoptering, micro-managing, over protective parents I've ever seen. (except for youth cheerleading!) Like MD says, two dozen replies saying "that's terrible" doesn't do anything but re-state the obvious.

Perverts are not new to society. They've been praying on people forever. What is disturbing is the fact that in the 21st century we have generations of parents that act appalled that they are still out there. If there's anything that you should have learned by now it's to pay more attention to your kids and be more alert and aware. This society has perverts stalking kids at groceries and at malls, they're in the churches and in your local REC programs. I'm not being insensitive. It is horrible what can happen. My head is shaking because you act so surprised.
At some point in our lives we know we need to trust our kids and allow them more freedom. Each kid is different and in many cases parents "lighten up" when a child has earned the right.Don't take my words to believe I support a pervert or stalking, nor am I laying blame on teenage girls as being responsible. I believe the points in the article mentions what parents should be aware of and monitor their daughter's activity if they see actions that cross the line. My problem is why do we need to keep reminding parents to do the right thing? You should all know this by now so why is it still happening? 10% of kids in high school feel the need to mark yes on a questionnaire that they have been either touched or abused in a sexual manner by an adult. This surely cannot be true!!! Just because somebody walking thru a crowd brushes my butt doesn't mean the intentionally groped me. If contact was made I would be more likely to believe it was simply due to the situation and not some pervert copping a feel.
For victims of true abuse I absolutely am on your side and hope you can put it behind you and move forward with happy and healthy relationships. Young ladies and men should never be prayed on or abused. Wake up parents. Pay attention!!!

I demand people to acknowledge this because it needs acknowledged. It took me pointing it out to get you to acknowledge it. Thought you were being clever didn't you?
Everyone thinks when they hear of a situation like this that it could never have possibly happen to them. My kid is smarter than that....or we are too good of parents....bunch of crap.
How about commenting that its terrible, obvious or not?

How about two dozen replies stating that this is terrible.....just maybe the OP has a connection with this poor suffering kid or parents. Maybe the parents are on this forum. They need to know that we care....or at least I do. Show some support, say its disgusting and you wanna rip the guys face off and eat it for dinner, something.
Another clever guy that won't be sympathetic but come after me for calling people out!!!!
