BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Third-seeded Cumberlands (Ky.) defeated No. 4 seed Georgetown (Ky.) 3-1 in a MSC Softball Tournament Elimination game at Michael Buchanon Park.

With the win, the Patriots (31-20) advance to play in a second elimination game today at 5 p.m. CT against the winner of Cumberland (Tenn.) and Shawnee State (Ohio).
