VALLEY CITY, N.D. – Whitney Mesi hit a walk-off sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth inning Thursday as No. 4 seed Dickinson State edged No. 5 seed Waldorf University, 2-1 in the opening round of the NSAA Softball Championships.
