KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Sydney Gearhart picked up three hits and two RBI across a pair of games on Sunday, but Avila (4-6) wasn't able to capitalize on the output, dropping both ends of the split doubleheader. The Eagles fell 3-1 to no. 22 Morningside College (10-1) and lost a 4-3 extra-innings contest against Benedictine College (5-3).
