COLUMBIA, Ky. – Hannah Epperson tossed a career game today at Marilyn D. Sparks Park helping the Lindsey Wilson softball team sweep Union (Ky.) in a non-conference doubleheader. Lindsey Wilson took game one over the Bulldogs by a score of 1-0. Game two was a different story, as LWC rolled out a 6-1 victory.
In the 1-0 game one victory, Epperson went the full seven innings from the center circle throwing 101 pitches allowing just three hits while striking out her career-high of 11 batters. Epperson evaporates her old career-high of nine strikeouts which she accomplished last season against Georgetown (Ky.) on April 6th.
