SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – Faith Barden (FR/Coleman, Mich.) of the Lawrence Technological (Mich.) University softball team earned WHAC Pitcher of the Week after going 3-0 with three complete games over spring break, the conference office announced on Monday.
Barden started three games last week, winning all three games including a nine strikeout game against St. Mary-of-the-Woods College. In the win over Indiana – South Bend, Barden went all seven allowing one run off five hits with four strikeouts and five walks. Against Doane, the freshman allowed three runs off eight hits with one strikeout.
