Gulf Shores, Ala. – The LSUA softball team opened the 2019 edition of the Gulf Shores Invitational with a pair of big wins during Friday's morning session, going into extra innings for a comeback win over the Williams Baptist Eagles 2-1 and then jumping out early and holding on late for an 8-5 win over the Lyon Scots Friday at the Gulf Shores Sportsplex.
