AMERICUS, Ga. – Georgia Southwestern State University (18-12), an NCAA Division II member from the Peach Belt Conference, scored four runs in the fourth inning of its 4-1 victory in game one and powered two home runs for three runs in the sixth inning of game two and came from 3-1 to beat Point University (14-14), 4-3, in March 22 action at Lady Canes Field in Americus, Ga. Point took a 3-1 lead on two home runs in the fourth inning of game two. Coached by Jennifer Tyler (Eighth season), Point hosts a non-conference doubleheader against Clark Atlanta University, Wed., March 27 at 4 p.m., and plays AAC doubleheaders at Bryan College, Friday, March 29 at 3 p.m., and at Tennessee Wesleyan University, Saturday, March 30, at 1 p.m.
