The Lady Bulldogs Softball team won the weekend series vs Texas A&M Texarkana 2 games to 1. Alexandra Montalbo and Karlee Hunt would earn the wins for the Bulldogs.
Jarvis would fall in game 1 of the series with a score of 2-6, but would answer back in game 2 of the series with 14 runs scored. Graciella Becerra would go 4 for 4 with 4 doubles and 4 rbi's, while Esmeralda Hernandez would add 3 hits and 2 rbi's on the day.
The final game of the series won by Jarvis with a score of 3-2 would give the weekend to the Bulldogs. Graciella Becerra hit the game winning single to bring the final run home in the bottom of the 7th inning. Freshman Chelsie Olvera would go 2 for 2 with 2 runs scored and 1 rbi.
The Lady Bulldogs are back in action at home on Tuesday when they play host to SAGU. Game times are set for 2pm and 4pm.
