[Softball] Lehigh Carbon Wins District F Championship
Vineland, NJ- Cumberland County College played host to the Region XIX championship games Saturday. #2 Rowan College at Gloucester County faced off against #3 Lehigh Carbon Community College in the second matchup of the day.
Game one was a back and forth offensive battle which saw the Cougars come up on top by a score of 8-5. In game two both pitchers and defenses dominated until the 5th inning when the Cougars put up 4 runs, they would go on to win the game by a score of 5-0 and sweep the 3 game series. Sophmore Lydia Danner was named tournament MVP. Brookdale will now advance to the NJCAA National Tournament in Rochester Minnesota May 17-19, 2018.
