[Softball] Lozano named MSC Champion of Character
Georgetown College softball is gearing up for the double elimination Mid-South Conference tournament. The Tigers (25-19) have had an up and down season, but seem to be on a peak coming into Friday's action in Bowling Green, Ky.
Before it all began, it was time to hand out conference season awards at the banquet Thursday.
Averie Lozano walked was honored by the league athletic directors with her Champion of Character award. She was nominated up with five other MSC players where the ADs reviewed each players' academics, athletics, five core NAIA values – sportsmanship, respect, responsibility, servant leadership and integrity – and community service.
