Taylor Brooks' 8th-inning single proved to be the game-winner, lifting #4 seed La Sierra past #2 Simpson 2-1 in the second round elimination game of the California Pacific Conference Softball Championship. The upset victory moves the Golden Eagles into the championship game against top-seeded Marymount California, which will be played Sunday, May 5, at 12:00 noon in Redding, Calif.
