CROWN POINT, Ind. – After opening play in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Tournament with a decisive 17-2 win over Trinity International University (Ill.), the top-seeded Olivet Nazarene University softball team has had to work for their wins. Day two saw the Tigers come from an eight-run deficit to down Indiana University – South Bend 13-12 before outlasting Saint Xavier University in eight innings for an 8-7 win to advance to the championship game.
