Senior pitcher Sydney Jones and the Hope College softball team served up a nearly flawless gem on the diamond in their opening round game of the NCAA Division III Softball Championship at Hope’s Wolters Stadium on Thursday. The Flying Dutch halted Greenville (Ill.) University’s 13-game win streak by besting the Cougars, 8-0, in six innings.
