[Softball] Play Suspended at Softball
SYLVANIA, Ohio - (BRACKET) - Play has been officially suspended for the evening and will resume at 2 p.m. on Thursday (weather permitting). A final decision on games for Thursday will be made by 11 a.m.
What hoped to be a beautiful night of softball turned into a game of waiting as lightning delayed the start of the first games by about 30 minutes. When play finally got underway, on two games were able to be completed before the rain came. Aquinas def. UM-Dearborn, 1-0 and Indiana Tech def. Siena Heights, 3-0.
In the other two opening games, Concordia leads Madonna 5-1 in the bottom of the seventh and Lawerence Tech and UNOH are tied in the top of the ninth.
