KINGSPORT, TN: Point University (28-24), seeded number six in the Appalachian Athletics Conference Softball Championships, scored its only run in the bottom of the fifth, but Brenau University (27-18), seeded number seven, tied the game at 1-1 with two outs in the top of the seventh and scored the go-ahead run with one out in the top of the ninth inning and defeated the Skyhawks, 2-1, in April 26 AAC Tournament action at the Brickyard Ballfields in Kingsport, Tenn.
