[Softball] Point Softball Splits Season-Opening Doubleheader with Albany State

WEST POINT, Ga. – Albany State University (1-5) rallied with two runs in the top of the seventh inning and defeated Point University (1-1) in game one, 3-2, and Point scored three runs in the top of the second inning and defeated the Golden Rams in game two, 5-1, in non-conference collegiate women's softball action, Wed., Feb. 6, on West Point Park Field. Coached by Jennifer Tyler (Eighth season), Point next plays a non-conference doubleheader at Middle Georgia State University in Cochran, Ga., Sat., Feb. 9, at 2 p.m.
