[Softball] Polka Picked to Lead Eagles Softball Program
CHICAGO (Ill.) — In an announcement released Monday morning, Robert Morris University-Illinois Director of Athletics Jared Williamson made public the appointment of Eagles alumnus and student-athlete standout Chrissy Polka to the position of Head Coach for the Robert Morris University softball program.
Polka becomes the fourth head coach in Robert Morris University softball history and the second graduate to lead the program after Megan Smith Eggert, who spent nine seasons at the helm of the Eagles softball team — from 2004 to 2012 — and finished with a career mark of 258 wins and 203 losses.
