The Tigers struck with five runs in the 1st inning against HTU, but would give up 11 runs in the 2nd inning. Ashley Jacobson (JR/Omaha, Neb.) started, allowing four runs on three hits and two walks in 1.1 innings. Mikenzi Wiseman (SR/North Platte, Neb.) led the offense with two hits, two runs scored, and three RBIs as she hit her second home run of the season.

Columbia held the advantage in the final game of the weekend by serving as the home team, which proved important in extra innings.
