BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson softball secured their place in the Mid-South Conference winner's bracket after opening day one of the tournament with a pair of wins over No. 8 seed Kentucky Christian and No. 4 seed Georgetown (Ky.) from Michael O. Buchanon Park.
For the day, the Blue Raiders (44-2) outhit their opponents 19-16. Lindsey Wilson opened the tournament with a 9-3 victory over Kentucky Christian before defeating Georgetown in a close 2-1 victory.
