CHICAGO --- Guiding their teams to unbeaten weeks, University of St. Francis' Kayla Garcia (Chicago, Ill.) and Olivet Nazarene University's Emily Carstens (Peotone, Ill.) have been named the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Softball Player and Pitcher of the Week for the seven-day period ending April 14, the league office announced on Wednesday.
