[Softball-SP] New Berlin's Schnirring Signs With Springfield
SPRINGFIELD (Ill.) -- Robert Morris University-Springfield softball coach Alexa McClaughry has announced the the addition of utility player Kylee Schnirring to the Eagles 2018-19 roster. Schnirring -- a native of New Berlin, Illinois -- is a versatile athlete with a tremendous high school resume.
The 2017 graduate of New Berlin High School was an Honorable Mention All-Conference member as a sophomore for the Pretzels, a Second Team All-Conference recipient as a junior, and a First Team All-Conference award winner as a senior. In addition, Schnirring was a Second Team All-Area selection, a Third Team All-State honoree, and was voted Team MVP to close out her high school career.
"Kylee was a great high school player and is a well-rounded student-athlete," noted McClaughry. "Off the field, she was on the honor roll and was a member of the Art Club, Future Farmers of America, and Key Club at New Berlin. We are very excited that she'll be joining us this fall."
