ST. CLOUD, MINN. – The St. Cloud State University softball team continued its explosive start to the season. On the second day of the Kelly Laas Dome Invite in St. Cloud, Minnesota, the Huskies scored a combined 17 runs in two against against tough Regional opponents. Thanks to its barrage of scoring and runs, St. Cloud State split its two games Saturday afternoon, dropping the opener to Missouri Western State University 9-8 before rebounding for a 9-1 victory over the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
