NORTH NEWTON, Kan. - The Bethel Threshers (9-8, 5-3) rode a five-game winning streak into Sunday afternoon's matchup with the Sterling Warriors (9-15, 5-5). Both teams saw their moments of strength, and while Bethel ultimately tallied more hits, it was the Warriors' ability to hit the long ball and capitalize on fielding errors from Bethel that put both games in Sterling's favor. Bethel lost both games by scores of 9-4, and 7-5.
