Rosemont, Ill. – The Tigers added two more wins in the second day of the NAIA Leadoff Tournament. The Tigers first matched up with Concordia University Ann Arbor, where they would record a convincing nine-to-one win. The Tigers would score twice in the first inning to take an early lead, but it was a five-run third inning that sealed the deal for the Tigers. A triple by Felicia Wacasey (SR/Crown Point, Ind.) started off the rally and this would allow Makenna Emerson (SR/Coal City, Ill.) to score. Wacasey would score later in the inning on a single by Morgan Charters (SR/Lowell, Ind.). Katie Marker (SO/Yorkville, Ill. ) would get the win for the Tigers, with Kori Fricke (FR/Manteno, Ill.) coming in for the final two innings and forced outs against all six of the batters she faced.
