[Softball] Tigers tripped up by Midland to close out spring trip

TUCSON, Ariz. – The Olivet Nazarene University softball team entered their final game in the Tucson Invitational Games sporting a 7-1 record, averaging over 11 hits and eight runs a game. Facing No. 11 Midland University (Neb.) for the second time in a week, the Tigers powerful offense was silenced by the Warriors, managing just three hits and a single run, falling 2-1. Kelly Rinker (JR/St. Charles, Ill. ) connected for two of the three ONU hits, while Emily Carstens (SR/Peotone, Ill.) suffered her first loss of the trip in the circle.
