OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – Despite strong offensive production from Sara Beers (SO/Greenwood, Ind. ), Alli Davis (SO/Mount Zion, Ill. ) and Miranda Southall (JR/Wilmington, Ill.) – all hitting over the .400 mark for the tournament, the Olivet Nazarene University softball team had their amazing season come to an end at the NAIA National Championship Opening Round in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. After picking up a win in the opener, the Tigers were unable to get past No. 3 OKC, falling to the Stars in the winners bracket finals and again in the championship.
