NASHVILLE – The Trevecca Nazarene University softball team (29-15-1, 15-9 Great Midwest) logged a pair of wins over conference rival Walsh University (20-22, 9-13 G-MAC), 14-6 and 9-1.
The wins secure a slot for the Trojans at the 2018 Great Midwest Championships. Trevecca earned the fifth seed and will play the fourth seed in game one at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championships at 9 AM on Thursday, May 3-5 at the Athletes in Action Complex in Xenia, Ohio.
MaKray Odom went 10-14 on the week with seven runs scored, two doubles, a stolen base, and four RBI.
