KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Friends University junior Breanna Vest has been selected to the NAIA All-America team as a second-team pick, the organization announced today (June 1).

Vest wasted little time making an impact for the Falcons in her first season with the program.

Also the KCAC Newcomer of the Year and an NFCA All-Region pick, Vest anchored the Falcons' offensive attack this season by leading the team with a .415 batting average and eight homers, including a career-high three blasts to power a 12-0 win at Langston (3/6/18).

The Fayetteville, Ark. native also posted team-high numbers in RBIs (50) and slugging percentage (.731) while tying for the team-lead in on-base-percentage (.481).

Vest helped the Falcons to a 26-24 overall mark this season and a 15-7 record in the KCAC, which was tied for third in the league.
